Boys of Steel

Meet the boys who created Superman! Back in the 1930s, writer Jerry
Siegel and artist Joe Shuster were shy high-school students when they
got together and started writing stories about the kind of superhero
they wanted to read about--strong, good, and just pretending to be a shy
ordinary person. Their creation, Superman, started a new age in
costumed superheros. This book tells their true story, illustrated in
the style of their comics. The big red "S" stands for "Superman"--and
also for Siegel and Shuster.
