Diving to a Deep-Sea Volcano by Kenneth Mallory

If you liked the deep-sea vents in the July/August Ask and want to read more about them, this is a good book. It's about the vents and also the scientists who study the hot, poisonous water around underwater volcanoes.  There are amazing pictures of the deep ocean and the weird creatures that live around the vents. It's also interesting to see the oceanographers at work, and the clever ways they think up to investigate things like how fast a clam is growing.
