OK, this is not a book, it is a CD of songs (and cartoon music videos!) about science, by a well-informed rock band called They Might Be Giants. These tunes are very catchy, and are a great ways to get many interesting science facts stuck in your head instead of dull adverising slogans. They sing about the elements, being a paleontologist, Roy G. Biv (a way to remember the order of the rainbow: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet), speed and velocity, and even computer assisted design. Sometimes science is just so exciting you have to sing it!
