Caution: Signs Ahead

Everywhere you look, signs tell us what to do: which bathroom to use, where to cross the street, or to beware of ducks. These are ideograms, symbolic pictures that convey an idea. Yellow diamonds, for example, mean "caution!" But there are still no signs for lots of things that we'd like to be warned about, such as "Mischief Ahead!" or "Caution: Worms in Sink!" For this month's contest, draw us a sign to alert people to something worth taking note of, and we'll post your warnings in an upcoming issue of
Ask.
